Nicole Long

Nicole is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Virginia. Nicole completed her Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania working with Michael Kahana, followed by a post-doctoral appointment with Brice Kuhl at the University of Oregon.

Matt Bair

Matt is a research coordinator and manages data collection and data analysis pipelines. He is interested in how the brain processes the different semantic properties of language and how these aspects interact with memory and self-reference. In his time off he enjoys travel and nature hikes, always in search of a good reading spot.

Subin Han

Subin is a fourth year graduate student in Cognitive Psychology. She is interested in exploring the transition from perception to memory, and the interactions between the internal and external modes of cognition. Outside of work, she likes reading novels, and watching movies.

DT Nguyen

DT is a third year graduate student in Cognitive Psychology. Broadly, she is interested in how negative past experiences shape future learning and behavior. Outside of lab, she’s probably searching for upcoming concerts, reading horror books, or hitting the gym.
